Project Coordinator (Life Sciences) – Onsite | South San Francisco, CA | 12-Month Contract to Hire We are actively seeking a Project Coordinator to support cross‑functional development programs in a fast‑paced, innovative life sciences environment. Key Details Location: South San Francisco, CA (Onsite) Duration: 12‑month contract to hire Work Type: W2 Start Date: Early July Pay Range: $45–$52/hr Responsibilities Build and manage project plans, timelines, and dashboards (Smartsheet) Track milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies Coordinate cross‑functional meetings (agenda, notes, follow‑ups) Maintain project reporting and status updates for leadership Drive action tracking and accountability across teams Organize and maintain centralized project documentation Support project intake, scheduling, and resource coordination Identify issues and elevate risks appropriately Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field 2‑5 years of project coordination / program support / operations experience Advanced Smartsheet expertise (dashboard creation, sheet management, reporting) Strong proficiency with Excel and project management tools Excellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong decision‑making ability and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in biotech, pharma, or drug development Experience supporting cross‑functional scientific teams Familiarity with project/program management frameworks Ideal Candidate Profile Proactive, self‑starter with strong ownership mindset Highly organized with excellent follow‑through Comfortable working in dynamic, evolving environments Collaborative and effective at building relationships Focused on process improvement and team enablement Why This Role?
