Nursing Assistant Training Program & Certification

The Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles is offering a unique opportunity to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through a paid training program, with all tuition and certification costs covered. Join our award-winning team and help care for those who have served our country.
Payment includes: Start employment on the day you begin classes and be paid for all hours while attending! $15.00/hour during classroom portion, a pay increase after graduation, and $22.20/hour after state certification with annual, union bargain increases guaranteed. Employment will be considered temporary (without benefits) until course completion.

Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Commitment to complete training and gain Oregon CNA certification
- Willingness to work for OVH one year after certification
- Must be able to work evening shift (2-10pm) following graduation until other shifts become available
- Compassionate attitude and strong work ethic
