The role involves providing care to patients in a high-acuity environment. Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Licensure and required certifications must be held prior to starting. The nursing staff will manage patients ranging from neonates to adolescents. Ideal candidates will have previously managed complex congenital heart cases. The nursing team will collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment. Duties will include advanced monitoring and therapeutic interventions. Nurses are expected to participate in required weekend shifts. Floating between units may be necessary based on staffing needs. This position requires adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Attending to the diverse needs of pediatric cardiac patients is essential.
