Accounting ManagerSalary: $90,000-$105,000 + discretionary bonus Location: Fully onsite in New MilfordWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:Report directly to the VP of Finance & HR with high visibility into company-wide financial operationsOwn the general ledger and close process end-to-end — real ownership, not a piece of itBuild supervisory experience managing a Transactional AccountantGain specialized manufacturing accounting exposure — inventory, WIP, and cost of goods soldCoordinate directly with outside auditors, tax preparers, and a UK parent companyPlay a key role in improving ERP utilization and accounting processesClear, defined performance measures so you always know how you're trackingKey Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:Own the general ledger and month-end/year-end close processPrepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysesOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash application, and collectionsManage inventory accounting, WIP reconciliation, and cost of goods sold analysisCoordinate the annual audit, tax preparation, and outside accountant requestsTrain and supervise the Transactional AccountantQualifications for the Accounting Manager:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close and financial reporting ownershipStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and account reconciliationsManufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting experience strongly preferred
