Program Specialist (Part Time)

Job Summary The Program Specialist works under the direction of the Director of Volunteer Engagement and Child Health Resources to implement, coordinate, and evaluate programs within the Family Resource Center. This role supports health education, injury prevention, and family resource initiatives through direct engagement with patients, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners. Responsibilities include program administration, visitor education, inventory management, data management, and continuous quality improvement activities. The Program Specialist maintains current knowledge of evidence-based practices and supports the mission of improving child and family safety, wellness, and access to resources. Key Responsibilities Administers programs under direction, including maintenance of best practice knowledge, participant recruitment, training development, and event logistics. Creates community engagement by identifying key stakeholders, building relationships, and participating in or leading community events/activities. Conducts program evaluation, quality improvement and data management. Represents AC in partnerships addressing mechanism-related task forces and coalitions. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
