Location 1061 Gold Hill Road,Fort Mill, SC, 29708,United States Base Pay $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 / Year Employee Type Full Time Description Direct and manage the health and wellness department. Oversee scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations for care staff. Coordinate staff training, in-service education, and compliance with company policies and state regulations Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated as required by company policy and state specific regulatory agencies Monitor residents' health, respond appropriately to changes, and communicate with physicians and families Supervise medication administration programs, including ordering, storage, documentation, and audits Maintain accurate and confidential resident records in compliance with regulatory standards Train and mentor staff in dementia care best practices Maintain accurate and up to date clinical chart documentation as required by company policy and regulatory agencies In partnership with key leadership, drive communication between residents, families and healthcare providers to address concerns and coordinate services Any other tasks or duties assigned and support for other departments as needed. Ensure adherence to all health regulations, infection control protocols, and safety procedures Participate in admissions process and care planning for new residents Must be available to work weekends, other shifts as staff and census changes demand, and participate in the rotating on-call schedule Remain accessible by phone to respond when necessary Maintain a consistent presence in the community during scheduled shifts Must fulfill all duties assigned, to include Salus support Requirements Current unrestricted RN or LPN license required. Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare setting. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Compassion for and experience working with older adults, including those with memory impairment. Must pass required background checks and meet all regulatory health and training requirements Because staffing levels in senior living are census and care needs driven, work hours and schedules are not guaranteed and may be modified, increased, or reduced at any time based on operational and business needs. Summary The Director of Health and Wellness works closely with the Regional Director of care and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of resident health and wellness within the community. This role fosters high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a person-centered approach to services. The Director works in collaboration with community leadership to address and solve clinical concerns from residents and responsible parties while supervising and supporting nursing and care teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
