Senior Deployment Solutions Architect, Sales

Join our sales team as a Solutions Architect (formally named Business Development Manager) representative at Mercer. This role is to deploy various prospecting approaches across target accounts, with the goal of partnering with the Account Executive to build quality opportunities for Workday deployment sales. The key responsibility is to contact potential customers and share the Mercer value messaging while also discovering the needs of the prospect and their organization. We will count on you to: Engage with potential customers and share Mercer value messaging. Discover the needs of the prospect and their organization. Support Account Executives through email, phone calls, presentations, social selling, and face-to-face events. Champion the relationship between the account and the Mercer team. Create project timeline, scope, and costing. Work with Mercer cross teams to develop and support collaborative approach solutions. Rationalize the approach with the client and mitigate roadblocks. Support all initiatives in the creation of the Statement of Work. What you need to have: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of professional or industry-specific experience within the Workday ecosystem or similar software, which can include full-time employment, part-time roles, or internships Shown industry experience preferred in either project management within the Workday ecosystem, prospecting, inside sales, business development, high technology exposure, marketing, direct sales, or IT consulting Must be business level in English (both written and verbal) Live within the central region of the United States What makes you stand out: Highly motivated, tenacious, self-starter Ability to hold a resourceful and significant, executive-level conversations Detail oriented and strong organizational skills Bilingual in Spanish (written and spoken) Knowledge of Workday product lines and ability to speak confidently about the day to day activities and using industry terminology Why join our team: We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
