Job Title: Lead Radiologic Technologist

Salary Range: $50.93 - $61.65 per hour

This reflects the expected hourly wage range for this role in New Jersey. The final compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.

The primary responsibility of this position is to produce specialized images of body parts for medical evaluation.

Required:

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology is mandatory.
• A valid New Jersey radiology license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is necessary.

Preferred:

• At least two (2) years of experience as a radiology technician is highly desirable.

The Lead Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for:

• Producing radiographic images and positioning fluoroscopic equipment as directed.
• Minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
• Ensuring patient comfort during procedures.
• Selecting and preparing contrast media for radiographic and special examinations.
• Processing radiographic images for the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Verifying patient identity and ensuring the correct body part is indicated on all images.
• Handling x-ray requests efficiently.
• Assisting in the training of student technologists.
• Demonstrating technical skills to student radiographers.
