Manual Machinist - 3rd Shift
Location: Painesville, OH #2931ST
Pay: $24.00-$26.00/hour (based on experience) + $2.00/hour shift differential

Our client in Painesville is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist for their 3rd shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to join a stable manufacturing company with competitive pay and long-term potential.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and other manual machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Machine parts to precise tolerances and quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance as needed.
• Deburr and finish machined components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of manual machining experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of machining tolerances and quality standards.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on 3rd shift.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of metal materials.
