About the Position

Job Title: Endoscopy RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8-hours or 10-hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active state or compact RN/LPN license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required, PALS preferred Must-Have: Scrub experience required EPIC charting experience required Travel experience required Description: The position requires an Endoscopy RN with scrub experience. Shifts are available as 5 days a week for 8 hours or 4 days a week for 10 hours. The RN will work 40 hours per week. Charting will be performed using the EPIC system. There is a call rotation with staff, requiring 4 weeknights in a 6-week schedule and 1 weekend. The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks if needed. The RN is required to work one holiday or take call during the 13-week contract. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are not eligible. Medical or religious exemptions for the COVID-19 and flu vaccines are the only exceptions allowed. The unit caters to patients of all age groups, including adolescents, neonates, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Previous charge experience is preferred. The RN will need to demonstrate skills in airway management, conscious sedation recovery, and additional endoscopy procedures. The RN will be responsible for monitoring and assessments, obtaining lab values, and managing dysrhythmias. Interdisciplinary support is available within the facility for various patient care needs.
