As a Clerical Assistant 2 with the Department of Environmental Protection – Northcentral Regional Office in Williamsport, you will assist with key records management duties. You will work with electronic and physical files that support program activities, and your contributions will help ensure information is clear, accessible, and properly maintained. This role supports records management operations for all programs in the regional office and provides relief for receptionist duties. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties: Data Management: Input electronic file information according to data quality standards File Purging: Purge files in line with retention schedules and prepare them for scanning Electronic Filing: Use OnBase to manage and process electronic files File Retrieval: Retrieve and clear files requested for reviews Staff Assistance: Help staff locate files in OnBase and the Records Management System Reception Relief: Provide clerical relief for receptionist duties as assigned Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; o r An equivalent combination of experience and training.
