Neuro-Oncologist

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Neurology, is seeking a faculty member with a focused clinical and research interest in Neuro-Oncology. UT Southwestern is recognized for offering an exceptional level of expertise in Neuro-Oncology, providing effective treatment options based on the latest research and the highest standards of care.The Neuro-Oncology Program at UT Southwestern is a growing, high-volume service line that aims to provide patients with robust, multidisciplinary care. We have active basic, translational, and clinical research programs. There is excellent collaboration between Neuro-Oncology, Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, PM&R, Neuropathology, and Neuroradiology.We seek an enthusiastic neuro-oncologist to join our group.Qualifications:Possess or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of TexasBoard certfied/board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for adult or child neurologyCompleted a 1-2 year fellowship in Neuro-OncologyAbility to demonstrate excellence in clinical medicine, interpersonal interactions, communication, teamwork skills and be a motivated self-starterFaculty members are expected to participate in academic and clinical research activitiesUTSouthwestern Medical Center is committed to an educational and working environment that provides equal opportunity to all members of the University community.
