The role focuses on providing imaging support in the operating room during vascular interventional radiology procedures. The ideal candidate should be comfortable being actively involved in the entire case workflow. Responsibilities include pulling inventory and ordering cases in the system prior to procedures. The candidate will run the table and controls during cases, perform 3D spins, and work with fusion technology. Being actively engaged in the room throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images, is essential. Documentation and inventory management during the case using specialized software will be required. Collaboration with vascular surgeons, the operating room team, and other procedural team members is crucial. There will be opportunities to utilize a C-arm to support simple surgical cases alongside X-ray staff. Familiarity with procedures such as Impellas and cystostomy is preferred. The candidate must adhere to a rotating call schedule every fourth week. Floating within the scope of practice may be required. Compliance with facility policies and procedures is expected.
