Job Title: Imaging Support IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 46 days Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: VA license required, pending submission accepted Certifications: ARRT and BLS required Must-Have: - Strong vascular/interventional radiology experience - Familiarity with hybrid operating room procedures - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Description: This position is for an imaging support technician in a vascular interventional radiology setting. The ideal candidate will be involved in the entire case workflow, operating equipment and assisting in procedures. Key responsibilities include pulling inventory and ordering cases in the electronic medical record prior to procedures. The technician will run the table and controls during cases, perform 3D spins, and work with fusion technology. They will be actively engaged in the room throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images. The technician will document and add inventory used during the case using the required software. They will collaborate closely with vascular surgeons and the OR team. During downtime, they will support simple surgical cases alongside X-ray staff using a C-arm. Procedures may include but are not limited to Impellas and cystoscopies. Candidates should expect to participate in rotating call every fourth week. A 50-mile radius rule applies for this position.
