EPIC Professional Billing Application Analyst III (Remote Role)

Employer Industry: Healthcare Technology Why consider this job opportunity: 100% paid medical premiums for full-time employees Generous time off totaling around 37-38 days per year Longevity pay with monthly payments after two years of service Comprehensive retirement/pension plan to build your future Access to free financial and legal counseling, mental health services, and wellness programs Opportunity to work remotely, preferably for those residing in Texas What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Design, build, test, validate, and support assigned Epic Professional Billing (PB) modules across the healthcare system Collaborate with operational stakeholders and IT to troubleshoot Epic system issues and capture requirements for new initiatives Develop and maintain system documentation for ongoing support and maintenance of the Epic system Perform unit testing of application configurations in non-production environments and identify defects Assist in the development of project plans and timelines for system changes What is Required (Qualifications): EPIC Certification by EPIC required Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent related experience in healthcare or information technology Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a healthcare-related field At least three (3) years of experience supporting one or more Epic modules preferred Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey complex subjects to non-technical groups How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience in large-scale healthcare systems planning and implementation of application software products Familiarity with project lifecycle and project management methodologies for software management Proven ability to manage projects of various sizes, including tasks, dependencies, and timelines We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
