This position is responsible for front-end patient registration, insurance verification, consent collection, and customer service, while also operating the Mobile Health Unit in compliance with all applicable motor vehicle, safety, and organizational requirements./ppThis role supports CAMcares mission to deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare services to the communities of Camden and Gloucester counties, including underserved and hard-to-reach populations./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3pPatient Service Registration Functions/pulliWelcome and assist patients accessing services through the Mobile Health Unit./liliPerform patient registration, insurance verification, eligibility confirmation, and benefits review./liliCollect co-payments when applicable and complete daily reconciliation and balancing of receipts./liliObtain and process patient consents for medical treatment and release of information in accordance with HIPAA and CAMcare policies./liliSchedule follow-up appointments and provide referrals and lab orders as directed./liliAccurately enter and maintain patient information within the electronic health record system./liliScan, upload, and maintain patient documentation in compliance with record retention standards./liliRespond to patient inquiries and direct concerns to the appropriate supervisor or department./li/ulpMobile Health Unit Operations (CDL-Related Duties)/pulliSafely operate CAMcares Mobile Health Unit in accordance with state motor vehicle laws, DOT regulations, CDL requirements, and organizational policies./liliConduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns promptly./liliEnsure the Mobile Health Unit is prepared for daily operations, including setup and breakdown at service locations./liliCoordinate arrival and departure times to support clinical schedules and community outreach events./liliMaintain a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate and comply with all medical qualification requirements for commercial drivers./liliMaintain required licensure, certifications, and documentation related to CDL operation./liliComply with all safety, risk management, and operational protocols associated with mobile services./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent required./liliValid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required./liliValid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate required and must be maintained throughout employment./liliAbility to meet CAMcares motor vehicle and driving eligibility requirements./liliMinimum of 13 years of experience in a healthcare, patient access, or customer service role preferred./liliExperience with insurance verification and patient registration are preferred./li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/h3ulliStrong interpersonal and customer service skills./liliAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, staff, and community partners./liliAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry./liliAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with regulatory requirements./liliCapacity to manage competing priorities in a mobile and dynamic work environment./li/ulh3Physical Environmental Requirements/h3ulliAbility to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods./liliAbility to safely operate a motor vehicle for extended periods./liliAbility to meet ongoing DOT physical and medical fitness standards./liliAbility to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds as needed./liliWork is performed in both mobile clinical environments and community-based settings./li/ulh3Compliance Regulatory Requirements/h3ulliCompliance with HIPAA, HRSA, OSHA, FMCSA regulations, CDL standards, and CAMcare policies is required./liliMust successfully pass DOT medical examination and maintain current Medical Examiners Certificate at all times./liliSuccessful completion of background checks, license verification, and any required health screenings./li/ulh3Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance Metrics/h3pThe Mobile Health Unit Operations Patient Service Representative (CDL) will be evaluated based on the following performance indicators, which align with CAMcares operational, regulatory, and patient experience goals:/ppPatient Access Registration KPIs/pulliRegistration Accuracy Rate: ?
