Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $65,000 to $72,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including reviewing and approving invoices using a three-way match process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Prepare weekly vendor disbursements in multiple currencies while monitoring payment terms to keep accounts current.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements and ensure accuracy of AP aging reports.
- Generate reports and analyze financial data for management review while supporting audits and special projects.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
- Apply problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including two years in a lead capacity role.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Exhibit strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess excellent communication and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
