Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $65,000 to $72,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including reviewing and approving invoices using a three-way match process.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate vendor records.
• Prepare weekly vendor disbursements in multiple currencies while monitoring payment terms to keep accounts current.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements and ensure accuracy of AP aging reports.
• Generate reports and analyze financial data for management review while supporting audits and special projects.

• Communicate professionally and effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including two years in a lead capacity role.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Exhibit strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Possess excellent communication and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
