Litigation Associate

Our client is seeking an associate attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join their Dallas office. Their firm represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, with a particular focus on construction law, surety, commercial litigation, contracts, insurance-related disputes, bankruptcy-related matters, and labor and employment issues. They serve clients throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana, and we are committed to providing practical, trusted, and effective legal solutions. Responsibilities Attorney will assist with all phases of litigation Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, correspondence, and legal memoranda Conducting legal research and developing case strategy Managing written discovery and document production Preparing for and participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, witnesses, and court personnel Handling matters with increasing independence as experience and judgment develop Supporting the firm's work in construction, surety, commercial, contract, and related litigation matters. Qualifications 2-5 years of litigation experience Admission to the State Bar of Texas (mandatory requirement) Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and professional judgment Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and client correspondence The ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments efficientlyA strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of assignments Professional communication skills and a client-service mindset Experience in construction litigation, surety law, commercial litigation, insurance defense, employment litigation, or bankruptcy-related litigation is preferred but not required.
