Senior Fullstack Engineering Manager

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal software engineering training or certification, along with 5+ years of applied experience.
• At least 2+ years leading technologists to resolve complex technical challenges within your area of expertise.
• 10+ years building enterprise-grade software products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and JPA, or alternatively Python with a relevant microservices framework.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and common UI testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and test-driven development, with practical experience using test automation tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Playwright, and Cucumber.
• Good knowledge of security standards including OAuth, TLS, and Kerberos.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
• Experience using agentic AI coding tools such as Copilot, Claude, Windsurf, and Gemini.
• Experience with event-driven systems using Kafka and other AMQP frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Demonstrated ability to lead effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools, with clear expectations for validating AI-generated output for correctness, performance, and security.
• Agile software development experience within a product operating model is preferred.
• Experience delivering enterprise solutions focused on data analytics is beneficial.
• Finance reporting experience is beneficial.
• Experience building cloud-native web applications is preferred.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as Cassandra is beneficial.
• Experience with LLM-based implementations is beneficial.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design, microservices patterns, and modern architecture approaches is preferred.

• Provide direction, oversight, and coaching to entry-level through mid-level software engineers working on basic to moderately complex assignments.
• Own decisions that affect team resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution of processes and procedures.
• Establish and scale operating practices for enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering and SDLC/TLM automation across multiple teams to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational results.
• Set measurable expectations around throughput, defect reduction, reliability, validation, security, resiliency, and reuse of proven patterns.
• Drive adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices, including code review, refactoring, testing acceleration, release readiness, and incident/root-cause analysis.
• Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchains and enterprise-authorized AI-enabled development automation to improve efficiency and unlock capacity across teams.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural fit, technical credibility, and compatibility with existing systems and information architecture.
• Ensure strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues to keep the book of work moving, escalating when needed.
• Partner with end users and product teams to align technical deliverables on time.
• Provide leadership with input on budget, strategy, and technical direction to improve operational efficiency and team functionality.
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to build awareness and adoption of emerging technologies.
