Team Lead, Cloud

Salary: $68,000 - 108,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience leading software development initiatives or technical teams in an enterprise environment.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience conducting code reviews and promoting software engineering best practices.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud-based applications and modern software development practices.
• Ability to coordinate work across teams, functions, and time zones, including offshore teams.
• Sound technical judgment in code and design reviews, root cause analysis, and stakeholder discussions.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, multi-tenant SaaS or enterprise products, CI/CD pipelines, .NET, SQL and relational databases, database provisioning or migration, and QA activities such as automation, load, scalability, and security testing.
• Preferred: Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, governance practices, and people leadership responsibilities.

• Lead software delivery from requirements analysis through deployment and production support, provide realistic estimates, and communicate risks to timelines.
• Guide engineers hands-on and serve as the primary contact for architecture, design, and codebase decisions.
• Review code and uphold quality, security, and performance standards before changes are promoted.
• Ensure technical designs are complete, scalable, and ready for development, applying lessons learned to prevent recurring issues.
• Work with stakeholders to turn business needs into actionable technical solutions aligned with existing implementations.
• Coordinate development and QA across distributed teams, maintaining clear communication, documented decisions, and established processes.
• Coach and mentor engineers, support their professional development, and encourage AI and automation to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Manage the engineering team by allocating work, conducting performance reviews, and participating in hiring.
• Drive technical quality across architecture, design, code review, CI/CD, and security, and support provisioning, database migration, configuration management, and self-service capabilities.
