Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance professional to join our team. In this role, you are the frontline of our operational success, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility. Your primary goal is to maintain and repair complex equipment, machinery, and systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

We are specifically looking for a candidate who excels in advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and can navigate technical documentation with ease. You will work closely with the team to ensure all tasks are completed with precision and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Intermediate in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Intermediate mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to diagnose root causes.
• Experience troubleshooting and aligning photoeyes, sensors, and related automated components.
• Intermediate knowledge of Motor Controls & Hydraulics systems
• The ability to climb up to 50ft+ in freezing temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, specifically understanding and diagnosing PLC Input/Output (I/O) signals. (Siemens)
• Functional understanding of ASi (Actuator Sensor Interface) networks and the ability to troubleshoot network-connected devices.
• Technical proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining ABB drives, SICK devices, and Siemens devices.
• Direct experience working on and maintaining Swisslog SRM & conveyance systems

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment malfunctions using a systematic approach to make necessary mechanical and electrical repairs while utilizing electrical schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and ensure system integrity.
• Network and Sensor Support: Identify and resolve issues within ASi networks and maintain the accuracy of automated sensors and photoeyes.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including detailed inspections, cleaning, and precision tuning.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate real-time records of all maintenance and repair work performed within our CMMS software.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced equipment failure rates.
