Back Staff Accountant Staff Accountant Manchester , New Hampshire Temp Per Hour Sep 15, 2026 $30.00 - $34.00 KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing organization in the Manchester, NH area that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals and prepaid expenses Review bank statements and assist with bank reconciliations Review and reconcile payroll entries within the accounting system Provide backup support for accounts payable, invoice coding, check runs, and cash disbursements Support billing, including preparing monthly draws and submitting invoices to funders Reconcile payments to invoices and the general ledger Track grant receivables and maintain supporting documentation Assist with audits and the annual budgeting process Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and depreciation schedules Assist with additional accounting projects as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred Strong Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant-level general accounting experience Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close Strong Microsoft Excel skills required Experience working within an ERP/accounting system Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Compensation is up to $34/hr DOE. #J-18808-Ljbffr
