Planning Analyst

Job Summary The Planning Analyst is a member of the Demand Planning team responsible for providing analyticalsupport across the Planning organization. This role transforms data into actionable business insights,develops reporting and analytical tools, identifies opportunities to improve planning processes, andsupports strategic initiatives that enable informed business decisions. The Planning Analyst collaboratesacross Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Merchandising, Sales, and GBT to improve planningcapabilities through data analysis, process optimization, and effective use of planning systems, and isaccountable for delivering analytical solutions that improve planning performance, inventorymanagement, and operational decision-making. This is an individual contributor role with no directreports. Essential Functions Description Analyzes planning, inventory, demand, and supply data to identify trends,risks, business opportunities, and actionable insights. Develops reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools that support planning decisions and business performance. Translates business needs into analytical solutions by identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, standardization, andcontinuous improvement. Supports inventory optimization, forecast analytics, size curve analysis, planning performance measurement, and business recommendations. Leverages Kinaxis and other planning systems to improve planning capabilities, reporting, and business processes. Partners with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, planning projects, and business analysis while communicating analytical findings andrecommendations to stakeholders. Supports ad hoc analyses, strategic projects, and evolving businesspriorities across the Planning organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree inSupply Chain Management, BusinessAdministration, Business Analytics, DataAnalytics, Industrial Engineering, OperationsManagement, Economics, Finance, or arelated field required. Minimum two (2) to three (3) yearsprofessional experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain,analytics, and/or related fields. Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform theessential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identifyactionable business insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas. Experience analyzing business, inventory, demand, or supply chain data. Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools (Power BI or similar) and SQL. Working knowledge of planning, forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain concepts. Experience working with ERP, planning, or business intelligence systems (Kinaxis, SAP, or similar). Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and process improvements Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Travel - Yes, up to 10% of the time. Base Salary: $80,800 - $83,000yearly The salary range posted for this position represents the anticipated hiring range for this role. Offers are made within this range based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations. This is the hiring range for the position; compensation above the posted maximum is not typically available at the time of hire. Work Location: Hybrid This role is based in the Portland, OR area and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Portland office and generally work on-site four days per week, with flexibility based on business and team needs.
