Inside Sales Representative

We're seeking a Government Inside Sales Representative to support growth within the aerospace and defense sector by developing and maintaining relationships with U.S. government agencies, defense contractors, and public sector customers. This role is ideal for someone with experience in inside sales, government contracting, aerospace/defense customer support, proposal preparation, and aftermarket sales support . What You'll Do Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, contracts, and availability Prepare and submit quotes, proposals, and bid documentation in accordance with government requirements Follow up on open quotes, bids, and contract opportunities to maximize conversions Negotiate pricing and terms and secure purchase orders on quoted opportunities Assist with contract renewals and ongoing account management activities Generate new business through outbound calls, emails, and lead follow-up Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery Maintain accurate records of opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities within CRM and ERP systems Stay current on government procurement regulations, solicitation processes, and FAR/DFAR requirements What We're Looking For 5+ years of inside sales, customer service, account management, or sales support experience within the aerospace and defense industry Experience preparing quotes, proposals, bids, and contract documentation Knowledge of government procurement processes and FAR/DFAR regulations Experience supporting aftermarket products, services, or programs is highly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills Experience using ERP and CRM systems Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Backgrounds Aftermarket Sales Representative Account Representative Customer Account Manager Proposal Specialist Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Must be authorized to work in the United States Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, Refugee, or Asylee) If you have experience supporting aerospace or defense customers, managing quotes and proposals, and navigating government procurement processes, we'd love to hear from you.
