Corporate Development Associate

Click here. Red Ventures is looking for a deal-oriented, execution-focused Corporate Development Associate to join our multi-faceted Corporate Development team. This is a high-volume, high-accountability role built for someone who thrives on owning the work. You will be the engine behind our M&A, investments, capital structuring, and inorganic growth decisions: vetting targets, keeping workstreams on track, guiding cross-functional teams through end-to-end processes, building financial models, and making sure leadership has what they need to make fast and informed decisions.You will work across transactions ranging from $10M-$2B across technology, financial services, media, telecom, education and travel. Expect significant variety, a fast pace, and real accountability from day one.What You’ll Do:Build and own first-draft financial models, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow models as well as standard valuation analyses, with scenario modeling to stress-test assumptions and surface key value driversMaintain and manage the M&A and partnership deal pipeline, keeping records current and flagging high-priority opportunitiesConduct initial screening of inbound and proactively sourced targets, assessing strategic fit, deal size, and financial profile against active investment thesesManage workstreams end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, HR, Tax, and OperationsPrepare screening memos summarizing key facts, strategic rationale, and recommended next steps for senior reviewBuild and maintain presentation materials for leadership and board-level deal reviews, investment committee meetings, and strategic planning discussionsTranslate complex financial and strategic analysis into clean, executive-ready decks with clear recommendationsConduct industry research and competitive landscape analysis to identify emerging opportunities across priority verticalsMaintain diligence trackers, manage the data room, and ensure workstream leads are hitting deadlinesSupport post-close integration planning and assist with partnership and portfolio reviews, flagging performance trends for leadership attentionWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or a related field1-2 years' experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate developmentStrong financial modeling skills; you can build a model from scratch and defend every assumptionExceptional attention to detail; you catch the error before it goes to the CFOProven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlinesIntellectually curious; you're a fast and eager learner with the demonstrated ability of being a thought partner for strategic decisionsClear, concise written and verbal communication skillsHigh proficiency in Excel and Power Point, CapIQ, and AI-based software and tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)Compensation:Total Cash Compensation Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per yearActual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision)Life InsuranceShort and Long-Term Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsHoliday Pay401(k) with matchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental Bonding Benefit ProgramFlexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential.
