Senior Accountant
An established accounting, tax, and advisory firm serving entrepreneurs, business owners, and high net worth individuals is adding a senior accountant to its growing team. This is a client facing role with real ownership, you'll lead the accounting function for a portfolio of business clients, partner closely with the tax and advisory teams, and have a defined path toward senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or multi client firm background strongly preferred
- Active CPA required; EA considered
- Small business and corporate client experience required
- Tax planning exposure required
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and advanced Excel
- Strong client communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle accounting for a portfolio of business clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, lead month end/year end close
- Maintain GL integrity, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Deliver financial reporting and KPI analysis to support client decisions
- Supervise staff accountants and bookkeepers
- Collaborate with tax and advisory teams on integrated client service
