Senior Accountant

A fast-growing retail company is looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of key accounting functions and contribute to process improvements. This role will partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership.
Core Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Review and prepare complex journal entries and reconciliations
• Oversee revenue recognition and inventory accounting
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Mentor junior accounting staff

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (retail or consumer goods a plus)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
