ASCP Lead Medical Technologist - Microbiology

MLR is seeking a seasoned and dedicated Technical Coordinator MT/MLS (ASCP) - Microbiology to join our client's laboratory team. In this leadership role, you will oversee technical operations within the Microbiology department, provide staff development through continuous education, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will also perform microbiology bench work and contribute to inspection processes, playing a key role in maintaining high standards of practice and operational efficiency.

Shift:

• Full-Time / 40 Hours / Day Shift / M-F 7a - 3:30p

Med Tech Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP), or M(ASCP) certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microbiology required
• Previous laboratory leadership experience required
• ASCP specialist certification in Microbiology preferred
• Experience with MALDI implementation and validation preferred
