• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $70.00–$73.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, and perform EKG functions in the Cath Lab setting.
• Must have 3 or 4 in scrub procedures and must be able to circulate.
• Perform and support Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including Balloon Angioplasty, Stents, Thrombectomy, Filter Placement, Pacemaker/defib device placement, Left heart catheterization, and Right heart catheterization.
• Perform and support Interventional Radiology procedures including Stents, Angioplasty, Peripherals, Upper and Lower Extremity, Vascular Studies, and Hemo Dynamic Monitoring.
• Perform and support Electrophysiology procedures including Cardioversion and Pacemaker Insertion.
• Work with patient population of Adults and Geriatrics.
• Support special procedures/unit details including Cardiac Cath, Interventions, STEMI, Peripheral vascular, EP to include inserts and change outs, EKOS, Clotriever, balloon pump, vascular CSI, Hawk One, and thrombectomy.
• Operate scrubbing and monitoring via EPIC and Mac Lab systems.
• Operate Siemens Artis 1 x-ray system.
• Adhere to float requirements as needed, including to nearby Rowan Medical Center if needed; travelers must be flexible to float.
• Meet call requirements: 8 weekdays and 2 weekends in a 6-week period, occasionally more.
• Meet weekend requirements: 2 weekends per 6-week period.
• Follow self-scheduling type, balanced by unit.

Education Requirements

• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• RCIS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Unit will NOT accept first-time travelers

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Shift: 10-hour days; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Patient ratios: Days (1:4–6) and Nights/Weekends (1:3)
• Call requirement: 8 weekdays and 2 weekends in a 6-week period; occasionally more
• Float requirement: As needed, including to nearby Rowan Medical Center if needed; travelers must be flexible to float
• Weekend requirement: Yes, 2 weekends per 6-week period
• Scheduling type: Self, balanced by unit
• Scrubs: Provided
• Flu vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
• Locals accepted (rate difference may apply)

Important Notes

• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
• RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a Cancel and DNR.
• RTO: 7 days maximum for 13-week contract.
