Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology / Electrophysiology

Schedule: Days (10-hr) 07:00–17:30; 40 hours can be offered

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience required
• Traveler experience required
• Must have prior procedural scrub experience
• Required certifications: RCIS, ACLS, BLS
• Required procedural experience:
• Cardiac Cath: balloon angioplasty, stents, thrombectomy, filter placement, left & right heart cath, pacemaker/defib device placement
• Interventional Radiology: peripheral angioplasty/stents, vascular studies, hemodynamic monitoring
• Electrophysiology: cardioversion, pacemaker insertion (inserts & change-outs)
• Epic experience required
• Special equipment experience required: EKOS, CSI

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced cardiac procedures, including catheterization and intervention.
• Conduct electrophysiology studies and manage device placements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately in the EMR.

Compliance / Notes:

• RTO after booking is not allowed
• Must complete required testing within 48 hours after signing
• NC or Compact license required in hand at start
• References from recent supervisors required
• Travel pairs must be submitted and work on different units
