We are currently seeking an experienced Sonographer (Ultrasound Technologist) for a respected acute care hospital in Frisco, Colorado. This opportunity is ideal for imaging professionals with strong vascular ultrasound experience who are passionate about delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services while working in a scenic mountain community.

Call Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM on Scheduled Workdays

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Conduct vascular, abdominal, breast, thyroid, renal, carotid, and other diagnostic ultrasound studies.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during examinations.
• Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently while maintaining imaging quality standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation within Epic and PACS systems.
• Participate in the department’s call rotation and provide emergency imaging coverage when required.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining workflow efficiency.

• Minimum 2 Years of Recent Sonography Experience
• Current BLS Certification (AHA)
• Current ARDMS Certification
• RDMS Certification in:
  • OB/GYN (OB)
  • Abdomen (AB)
  • Breast (BR)
• RVT Certification Preferred
• Strong Vascular Ultrasound Experience Required
• Acute Care Hospital Experience Preferred
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during weekend and call coverage shifts
