Safety Coordinator

Safety Coordinators We're seeking Safety Coordinators to support high-visibility data center projects across multiple Columbus-area sites. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of safety-adjacent experience or direct safety roles in construction, or manufacturing environments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential for individuals passionate about workplace safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day site safety operations Maintain documentation and safety compliance records Assist with onboarding safety practices for new personnel Monitor low-level risks in a data center environment Partner with technicians, contractors, and leadership to foster a safety-first culture Report and file incidents, assist in investigations if needed Ensure PPE and site safety protocols are followed Qualifications Experience: 1–2 years in a safety-related or adjacent role within the past 5 years EMTs, construction safety, healthcare, and manufacturing experience highly encouraged Certifications: OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized and comfortable with administrative tasks Eagerness to grow into a long-term safety-focused role Schedule & Shift Details Google NBY – Safety Coordinator (1st Shift) Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 hours/week + OT Notes: Some onboarding steps can be expedited
