Schedule

8 consecutive 10-hour shifts, Wednesday - Wednesday, with overnight call required.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current state Respiratory Care Practitioner license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute-care hospital setting, including adult and pediatric patients
• Experience in intensive care and ventilator management
• Ability to function independently
• ABG draw and analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory treatments and manage ventilation needs
• Troubleshoot respiratory equipment
• Conduct patient assessments
• Perform pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing
