About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Claims and Insurance Management to lead the strategic management of the company's insurance and claims practices, with a focus on minimizing physical and financial risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, procurement, and management of corporate insurance programs, acting as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related matters. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, as well as the development and implementation of risk management strategies aligned with business objectives. The Vice President will also be accountable for ensuring the company's safety, health, and environmental policies are compliant and effective in minimizing risk. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred, and a background in corporate insurance and claims management within a large national organization. Experience in commercial insurance procurement, underwriting, and risk management is essential, as is a strong knowledge of insurance carriers and brokerage resources. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to influence in a multi-site environment, and a proven track record in change management. The Vice President will lead a team of insurance and claims professionals, so leadership and mentoring experience is also required. The position is pivotal in ensuring that the company's people-first approach is reflected in its risk management practices, with a commitment to the safety and well-being of employees, customers, and clients.
