MRI Technologist

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The facility has licensed beds and serves as a Level I Trauma and Pediatric Trauma center. It is also recognized as a teaching hospital with specialized centers for chest pain and stroke. The department averages 40-45 patients per day. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Patient types include adults and pediatrics from various units and outpatient settings. Common diagnoses span the full spectrum of radiology exams. State licensure is not required for this position. All departments are staffed with a lead tech, modality supervisor, and an imaging manager. The team is diverse, featuring a mix of new graduates and experienced professionals. The department utilizes EMR technology and specific equipment, including Siemens 1.5T magnets. Scheduling does not involve rotation between weekends and weekdays. Travelers will cover designated shifts as per the contract. Call requirements will be distributed fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates. Holiday coverage is expected unless prior approval is granted. Requests for time off require manager approval. Technologists will wear black scrubs. The department promotes good teamwork and high clinical skill sets, fostering an ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
