Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Specialist Location: Southfield, MI Schedule: Monday - Thursday & Every Other Friday | 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide comprehensive care for patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), orthopedic injuries, and other neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will perform advanced clinical evaluations, neurological assessments, neurodiagnostic testing, treatment planning, patient education, and care coordination while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and neurological assessments. Evaluate musculoskeletal, orthopedic, vestibular, cognitive, and neurological conditions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, rehabilitation, and home care. Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Conduct telemedicine visits as needed. Perform and oversee neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, HRV, VNG, computerized balance testing, cognitive assessments, oculomotor tracking, pupillometry, and related procedures. Qualifications Required Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred). Experience performing patient examinations and injections. Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between clinic locations. Preferred Experience treating patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Neurology, orthopedic, musculoskeletal, or vestibular assessment experience. Neurodiagnostic testing experience. Regenerative medicine and injection experience. Medical coding and clinical documentation knowledge. Bilingual skills are a plus. Preferred Skills Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
