Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans
Develop and update treatment and discharge plans to help patients improve daily living skills
Document patient progress accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as per practice acts and facility policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to create holistic care plans
Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and facility standards

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
Active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain one before start)
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
Passion for helping others achieve independence in daily living

Education

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) from an accredited program
Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning
Occupational therapy interventions for daily living skills
Accurate clinical documentation
Interdisciplinary collaboration and family education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
