Job Overview This is an interview position plus CEV for a frontline supervisor that supports the FedEx Express Safety Above All Culture. The role manages day‑to‑day sort operations and oversees assigned Cargo Handlers (CH) staff within a station, guiding employees in proper package handling, routing, and recovery of potential service failures. Responsibilities Lead and guide employees in proper package handling, routing, and recovery. Manage day‑to‑day sort operations and oversee CH functions. Ensure administrative processes comply with FXE policies, procedures, and government regulations. Mentor, coach, and train staff, serving as a knowledge resource. Inspire a shared vision, empower and motivate the team. Prioritize and delegate tasks in a time‑sensitive manner. Resolve conflicts and manage stakeholder communication. Simplify business processes while ensuring quality. Take accountability for department failures and quickly find solutions. Requirements Minimum of 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience OR 2 years supervisory experience in a related industry. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment. Completion of all basic and recurrent training, including DG certification. Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, including listening with empathy. Preferred Qualifications Shift: Thursday/Friday/Saturday 10:00am‑18:30pm daily. Experience requirement amended to 12 months of FedEx Sort Operations or Senior Level Hourly experience. Grade 84.
