This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations. This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Job Duties Case pick utilizing a scanner, frequently getting off the equipment. Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift. Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded. Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy. Comply with all OSHA and SDS standards. Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary. Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Assist in physical inventories. Complete daily inspection of equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Forklift operator certificate or previous experience required. 6+ months of warehouse experience/forklift experience preferred. Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation. Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
