Plant EngineerLinde Inc.Chesterton or Gary, IN, United States | req29865What you will enjoy doing:Provide project support for Burns Harbor, IN, Gary, IN, and associated satellite plant operationsExecute the Management of Change (MOC) work process, ensuring all changes to systems, equipment, and processes are properly evaluated, documented, and implemented in compliance with safety and operational standardsLead and support capital projects, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades from concept through completionTroubleshoot plant equipment and systems to resolve reliability and performance issuesIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost performanceMonitor equipment performance data and drive corrective actions for underperforming assetsMaintain and update documentation including P&IDs, SWDs, and site-specific operating procedures, in accordance with MOC requirementsTravel approximately 15% to support multi-site operationsWhat makes you great:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills that strengthen collaboration across operational and technical teamsComputer proficiency with Microsoft productsWorking knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processesAbility to travel approximately 15% of the timeFlexibility in work schedule to support operations during startup, shutdown or unplanned eventsWhy you will love working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
