Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at the Jared Jewelers store in Evansville, IN. This role involves welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through jewelry selections while delivering an elevated, luxury-focused experience. Daily responsibilities include presenting product features and benefits, processing sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing. The Sales Specialist will follow up with customers, handle service inquiries, and support store promotions and events. The role also includes learning about new collections, participating in ongoing training, and collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional speaking and writing. Proven Customer Service abilities focused on building trust, handling inquiries, and resolving concerns with care. Demonstrated Sales skills, such as consultative selling, product presentation, and closing techniques. Experience with Training or coaching peers, and interest in developing Sales Management capabilities. Prior retail or luxury goods experience preferred, especially in jewelry or fashion. Comfort with point-of-sale systems, basic math, and handling financial transactions accurately. Ability to stand for extended periods, work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays), and collaborate in a team environment.
