Job Summary
Little World Child Care Center is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and caring Childcare Lead Teachers and Qualified GSRP Teachers to join our early childhood education team in Roseville, MI. In this rewarding role, you will support the development, safety, and well-being of young children by helping create a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and passionate about early childhood education, with the confidence to lead a classroom and support children’s development through structured routines, play-based learning, and positive guidance. We are looking for educators who take initiative, communicate well with families and staff, and are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and hands-on learning activities.
• Support children's literacy, math, language, motor, and social-emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Provide active supervision and positive behavior guidance.
• Observe and document children's development, progress, and milestones.
• Maintain required lesson plans, classroom records, and assessments.
• Communicate professionally with parents and guardians.
• Work collaboratively with assistant teachers, administration, and other staff.
• Follow Little World Child Care Center policies and Michigan childcare licensing requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA credential, childcare training, or Early Childhood Education coursework is REQUIRED.
• Experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or early childhood education is REQUIRED.
• At least 2 year of childcare, daycare, preschool, or classroom experience preferred.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Must have your own reliable transportation and the ability to commute to Roseville, MI 48066.
• Must be able to move comfortably and safely throughout the classroom to supervise children.
• Must be patient, energetic, professional, and passionate about working with young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Ability to multitask in a busy childcare environment while remaining calm and positive.

Schedule

Full-time opportunities available.

Daytime, evening, and overnight shifts may be available depending on center needs.

Applicants must be available for the shift they are applying for.
