We are looking for individuals with strong mechanical skills that can be applied to the service of Ariens, Toro and Honda snowblowers with training from our professional staff. Candidates will be responsible for performing routine service, tune-ups and assembly on quality power equipment. This includes diagnosing problems, troubleshooting, rebuilding carburetors, tuning engines and using power tools to assemble equipment and more. We provide all necessary tools and supplies for technicians to use.

Paid training is provided for qualified candidates. Some experience working on this type of equipment is required. We are willing to invest time, money & resources into training someone who has the right skills and is passionate about learning a trade.

This is a full time position.

What You'll Do

After receiving training from our staff, Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform routine maintenance on customers’ snowblowers, which typically includes the following:
• Drain and change engine oil
• Disassemble, clean and rebuild engine carburetor
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair problems with equipment
• Adjust or install new cables, belts, skids and scraper edges

• Unbox, assemble, prep and test new snowblowers to be sold at our store

Requirements

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Some prior experience working with power equipment and small engines
• Responsible, punctual and able to communicate clearly with others in a professional manner
• Strong attention to details and willing to listen to and follow instructions
• Ability to work independently after receiving training
• Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experiences
• Interest in developing own skills and knowledge
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on seasonal needs
• Ability to push, pull and move equipment in excess of 50 pounds (like a snowblower)

Benefits

A competitive wage will be based on candidate's prior work experience and/or individual mechanical skill level.

• PAID TRAINING to qualified individuals
• 40 Hours per week at hourly wage, plus 1.5x Overtime Pay for hours over 40
• This is a full time position. We also service lawnmowers, trimmers so this position can be a year round opportunity rather than seasonal.
