Transmission Technician

Job description We’re looking for a few highly-skilled automotive technicians to join our Service team. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Looking for someone who is capable of working on GM vehicles Primary Responsibilities: Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair Keep shop area/work area are clean and kept up Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair Requirements: Ideal candidates will have: Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals Outstanding communication skills Professional appearance and work ethic Great attitude with a high-energy personality Superior customer service skills Two years automotive mechanical experience or automotive trade school Ability to read and comprehend instructions Ability to exercise good judgment Valid drivers license and good driving record Background check Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Must have technical aptitude Technical or trade school degree preferred GM factory training Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: Commission pay License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Bill Hood Chevrolet
