Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager - Atlanta I'm working with a global, publicly listed organization that is looking to add a Manager to its International Accounting & Consolidations team. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a highly visible international reporting function while working closely with senior leadership and finance teams across multiple countries. You'll have genuine scope to improve processes, controls, systems and team utilization Transformation focus: The organization is actively focused on efficiency, including opportunities to assess automation, AI and other technology solutions Strong team: You'll work alongside an established international accounting function and a capable offshore team Career development: Broad cross-functional exposure and plenty of opportunity to build your internal network and progress into other areas of the organization Hybrid flexibility: Just 2 days per week in the Atlanta office What they're looking for: Active CPA Public accounting experience, ideally Big 4 / Top 10 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experienceStrong US GAAP knowledge Experience across financial reporting, consolidations or corporate accounting Public company and/or multinational experience Previous management or supervisory experience Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Someone who can communicate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and geographies A process-improvement mindset and willingness to challenge how things are currently done You do not need to be a pure consolidations specialist. Candidates coming from public accounting with strong technical accounting, financial reporting or corporate accounting experience are encouraged to apply. The specification specifically requires public accounting experience, management experience and an active CPA, alongside strong US GAAP and consolidation knowledge.
