Job Description
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely handling and transporting materials within the warehouse environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role involves operating forklifts to load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently, while ensuring safety compliance and maintaining equipment functionality during regular day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently
- Load and unload shipments accurately
- Handle inventory to maintain warehouse organization
- Inspect equipment regularly and report maintenance needs
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols
- Transport materials between storage and production areas
- Support overall warehouse organization and cleanliness
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations
