Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering outstanding imaging services. You will leverage advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic examinations, work alongside a team of dedicated clinicians, and reassure patients with accurate, timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during every procedure, with clear and compassionate communication
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and addressing issues expediently
• Document procedures meticulously and manage patient records accurately within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
