Job Description:
Job Summary
- Serve as the "first face" of the clinic to patients and community stakeholders.
- Responsible for strategically schedule patients, maximizing staff efficiency, and maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Answers phone, directing calls appropriately to nursing triage, direct schedule, or other staff delegation.
- Completes patient check-out with billing reconciliation and cash collection, as required by insurance status.
- Act as translator as needed by nursing staff.
- Communicate with patients (phone, letters, in person).
- Assists in scanning documents and patient records into the EHR.
- Covers all clinics' staffing as needed; some Saturdays are required.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Three years of experience in a clerical or administrative support role.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Excellent communications skills with a customer service focus.
- Understanding of basic math and cash handling processes.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
