Senior Data Scientist

Salary: $115,400 - 192,300 per year Requirements:

• We require a masters degree plus 7–10 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 6+ years of related experience.
• We look for an advanced or masters-level education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline.
• We need hands-on experience with large language models and transformer-based architectures such as BERT, RoBERTa, and T5.
• We expect proficiency with big data platforms and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS.
• We value experience applying LLMs including ChatGPT, GPT-3.5, Claude, and Mistral.
• We seek strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide and support junior data scientists and work across functions.
• We require solid experience with machine learning methods, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests.
• We expect advanced programming ability in Python, R, or other relevant languages for data analysis.

• We work closely with data scientists and engineers to design, build, and deploy AI solutions.
• We lead the development of advanced AI and machine learning models to address complex business challenges.
• We analyze large datasets to uncover patterns and trends that inform AI development.
• We partner with cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and customer needs.
• We evaluate and create new frameworks while defining methods and governance.
• We mentor junior data scientists and share best practices in AI and machine learning.
• We collaborate with product leaders to apply data science solutions.
• We lead small to medium-sized teams, either directly or indirectly.
• We define projects and oversee their execution as a subject matter expert.
