JOB SUMMARY
The Drilling Materials Coordinator will support WNS and Kuparuk drilling rigs by ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient coordination of all drilling materials.
This role works closely with the Drilling Materials Specialist, ConocoPhillips Operations, tool pushers, and drilling teams to meet both scheduled and unscheduled material requirements.
The Drilling Materials Coordinator will take direction from the Drilling Materials Specialist and Foreman.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Coordinate and direct daily activities of drilling warehouse personnel, expediters, ice road support crews, and truck drivers to ensure efficient material movement and availability.
Support all drilling operations at WNS and Kuparuk, with a primary focus on site-based rigs, including assisting with Air Freight Operations (Herc Flights).
Collaborate with drilling teams, well work crews, and Roads & Pads personnel to meet operational material needs.
Receipt, inspection, stocking, staging, packaging, crating, inventory issuance, shipping, and delivery of materials.
Monitor drilling and well completion schedules to ensure materials are available in advance of operational needs.
Reconcile inventories and close out materials associated with well completions.
Create and manage material requisitions in SAP.
Lead and support scheduled and unscheduled drilling inventory counts and audits.
Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
A valid (U.S issued) Driver's License is required.
A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 2x2 rotation is required.
At least three (3) years of experience as a Materials Technician with a strong background in drilling materials, drilling tools, wellhead, tubular identification, and the reconciliation of drilling inventories is required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Five (5) or more years of experience working as a Materials Tech specifically the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
Experience with SAP for ordering, managing, receiving, issuing, and inventorying all ConocoPhillips-owned materials on site, with an emphasis on the MM and PM Modules is preferred.
Proficiency in working with Networks and PM Orders is preferred.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have its own accommodation and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands and work environment requirements outlined below are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. A post-offer, pre-hire Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to ensure an employee's ability to safely meet job standards. Candidates must be able to comply with the ASRC Energy Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, successfully pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both urinalysis and hair testing, and meet the physical requirements of working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
